Simon Manchipp is a founding partner of SomeOne. Successfully operating at the front line of commercial creativity globally for 20 years, the company is rated as the No.1 Design Agency in the UK.

 

Simon specialises in launching, relaunching and managing the brands of products, organisations and services at all sizes.

Prior to launching SomeOne, Simon founded and ran the design practice called ‘NoOne’. The agency successfully ran for six years and was incubated by the 'agency of the decadeHHCL & Partners — part of the WPP network.

While running the creative practices Simon has retained a hands on approach where appropriate.

 

Happy to do the pitches & new business, the running of projects, working with clients and wider stakeholders.

 

Experienced in the research & writing of strategic positions to getting into copywriting.

 

And of course, not forgetting the delicate moments when the creation, design, art direction and deployment of assets comes into play.​

Over the past two decades I’ve heard people ask me the same question, ‘I know we need to change, I know you can make it attractive — but how can we make it stick?’ 

This conundrum is one of the biggest strategic challenges facing modern brands and has become my specialist subject.

Under Simon’s guidance SomeOne won ‘the double’ for The 2024 Design Agency of the Year (Winning both The Peoples Choice and The Jurys vote).

 

He is particularly proud of the studio being voted CreativePools ‘Best Agency to Work For’ — and No.1 UK Elite Agency league based on client satisfaction (Drum Marketing Awards)

Simon has written design courses and been visiting Assessor of Central St. Martins School of Art, Honorary Professor at The Cass School of Art & visiting lecturer at Universities nationwide.
